About the Owner
My name is Kat Fitzsimmons, the owner of Pampered Petz.
I have a Master’s degree in Business from Drexel University, but after working in the corporate world for many years, I found myself yearning for something more. So, I decided to follow my true passion, working with animals! I have always felt such a strong connection to animals for as long as I can remember.
In 2009, I opened Pampered Petz to make my dream a reality. We pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we form with our clients giving them peace of mind that their furry family members are receiving the best care possible. My husband, Hans, and I live in Gilbertsville with two sons, cats Teddy and Chloe, and our dog, Bella. Hans left his job in 2011 to work for Pampered Petz full-time and has never looked back. He has experience with a variety of animals from cats and dogs to ferrets and loves being able to be outside everyday.

Hi! My name’s Beth. I live in Limerick with my husband, two kids, and two very spoiled dogs. I’ve loved animals all my life!! I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a small child, and have always had a passion for caring for animals. I think the love of an animal is something very special. I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to share my love of animals with your pets!!
Hello! My name is Val. I am a proud momma of a Havenese, named Pippi(Named after Ms. Longstocking). I am a former vet tech of 28 years. It all started as a summer job that blossomed into a long and rewarding career. I created so many friendships with both humans and pets. I developed an understanding of the medical side of animals, but also the understanding of their behavior and emotions. I am a huge advocate of rescues for animals. I am a cat gal as well. I had my ‘brat pack’, my three boys, all of whom lived long and healthy lives. I love being part of the Pampered Petz team as it allows me to fill the void left after leaving the veterinary field. I look forward to caring for your furry family members. It is an honor and privilege to care for them!
Hi, I’m Irene aka the Crazy Dog Lady. I live in Limerick with nine dogs; eight rescues and my fifteen year old English Bulldog. I am retired after forty years in the Criminal Justice System. Over the years, I have been involved in rescue and anything relating to animals. I have been an anti- puppy mill demonstrator and an advocate for spay and neuter programs. I have actively participated in numerous pet related courses, including pet first aid and pet rescue. I am well equipped to handle blind, deaf, diabetic, paralyzed and epileptic animals. Currently, I volunteer at Ryerss Farm which houses approximately eighty five senior and neglected horses, a mule and a couple of pigs. Animals are not just my life, they are my bliss. Caring for your animal or animals is not a job to me, it is a privilege.
Hi! My name is Nicole. I live in Spring City, PA with my husband/kids and two fur-babies, Graham and Sallie, who are both rescues. I have had animals my whole life. Before my two pups now, I had Sammy (dog) and Jax (cat), who both lived 17 years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I have also previously fostered many rescue dogs until they found their furever home. I love all animals and after using Pampered Petz myself, I thought what better job than to give comfort to people like me that their pets are in loving hands when they are unable to be home.
Hello! My name is Kim and I live in Phoenixville. Like every staff member of Pampered Petz, I absolutely adore all animals! Throughout my life, my pets weren’t just pets, they were and are the animals that brought me joy, comfort and respect for all living creatures. I love to nurture animals, and they nurture me! I never had the chance to have children, so animals played a big part in my life. Presently, I live with an ornery but well loved cat that I rescued. She (Tilly) was extremely timid and scared of all human contact. Today, she can usually be found on my lap or cuddling with me on the couch. Besides my cat, I have had hamsters, a guinea pig, a rabbit and have raised two wonderful dogs who have sadly passed after a full life of love and adoration. Furthermore, I am passionate about horses and have ridden and cared for any horse I could. I am very excited to meet all of my clients and care for, play with and provide love for your fur babies as if they were my own.
Hi, my name is Quinn and I just moved to Gilbertsville with my mother and grandmother at the end of 2019. I’ve always loved animals my entire life and moving here is product of that. We are finally able to keep my first horse at home as well as any other critters we get along the way. Currently, we share a home with my Standard Poodle, Etta May, and three horses, Hiba, Parker, and Popcorn. In the past, we’ve had many dogs, as well as a few cats, rats and gerbils, birds, tons of fish and briefly, a snake. Right now, I’m focused on my horses with the goal of training and eventually riding more regularly and possibly showing. I’ve had several animal related jobs over the years and take great pride in my experience and what I continue to learn every day. I will do everything I can to make sure your pets are comfortable and happy.
Hi, my name is Debbie Bux and I live in the North Coventry area. I recently retired to pursue a passion of mine to care for animals. I have two grown children, two rescued dogs, Duncan and Boomer, and two rescued cats, Missy and Mia. I grew up having animals in my family so it’s normal to have animals around. I would be very happy to meet and take care of your animals as if they were my own. I want to thank you for the opportunity to meet and care for your animals.
Hi! My name is Ali and I live in East Coventry with my husband and rescue pittie, Zeus. I love all animals and will go out of my way to meet each one I see. I’ve cared for dogs with all sorts of personality quirks and specific needs and keeping your pet happy and comfortable is a top priority! I look forward to giving your pets the love and attention they need while you are away.
My name is Angie and I have been in the veterinary field for over 25 years, 6 of which were spent as an Emergency Veterinary Technician. Animals have always been my passion and they are what make me happiest in life!! There is nothing like the unconditional love they provide and so it has always been my mission to repay them by showering them with the love and affection they deserve.
Rescuing animals has always been especially important to me. My philosophy has always been not to actively seek out my pets, but I wait for them to find me. Once they find me, then I know it is truly meant to be!!! I currently have 5 rescue cats…can you say crazy cat lady? It is a label that I have had for an exceptionally long time and I wear it proudly. I believe every animal is PURRfect in their own unique way and I PAWSitively cannot wait to meet yours. It would truly be my honor to care for them and you can be assured I would ALWAYS treat them as if they were my own.
